The National Association of Black Social Workers; Sacramento, California Chapter is awarding financial scholarships to full time graduating high school and/or current college students (who are members or potential members) who plan to pursue a degree in field of Social Work – Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Master of Social Work (MSW). Each applicant must submit this application and ALL supplemental materials. All materials must be received no later than Saturday, May 4, 2019, NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

The following criteria will be used to select the scholarship awardees:

• Graduating High School Senior
• Sealed transcript from high school or college
• GPA- minimum of 2.75;
• Full time college student
• Completed application;

Before filling out this application, please make sure you have the flowing documents ready to upload:

• A type-written Personal Profile (1 page);
• Current Photo
• Statement of financial need;(1 page)
• Two (2) References (1 page each)
• School Authorization To Release Information Form (Click Here)

The scholarship winners will be notified no later than July 31, 2021. Scholarship winners will be highlighted on the National Association of Black Social Workers; Sacramento, Chapter unless otherwise notified.
